The history of Canon

Founded in 1937, Canon developed simple 35mm compact cameras and X-ray cameras in Japan.

After some time, Canon developed Japan’s first copying machine for plain paper in 1970.

In the 1980’s further technological development paved the way to expand to also make laser printers and Bubble Jet ink printers.
