The history of Samsung

In 1938, Lee Byung-Chul founded Samsung as a trading company focusing on food processing, textiles, insurance, securities, and retail.

The real growth of Samsung started first in the 1960’s as they entered into the electronics industry then again in the 1970’s when getting into construction and shipbuilding. Since 1990, Samsungs biggest markets have been with semiconductor and mobile phone manufacturing.
